Ultrapool Sets: All 8 Ball Sets Compared
Each set is also a separate progression track: the difficulty ladder is unlocked per set, so beating All Nighter with Classic does not unlock it for Nature. That is what players mean when they talk about "8 starting builds with 5 difficulties each".
Classic 28 balls
Number balls and pocket manipulation. The starting set and the only one available on the first difficulty.
How it wants to be played: Stack number balls and combine them upward, or skip numbers entirely and buy Pants for the multiplier.

Nature 21 balls
Flowers, eggs and buffs. The set that turns small repeated buffs into score.
How it wants to be played: Plant flowers, buff constantly, and let Sand convert every buff into points.

Tech 23 balls
Scrap, locks and upgrades. The most mechanical set, and the one with the strongest late-game upgrades.
How it wants to be played: Generate scrap, recycle it into levels, and duplicate whatever you upgraded.

Spooky 24 balls
Transformation, shields and rituals. Balls change into other balls constantly.
How it wants to be played: Lean into transforms, then pick up Shark Plush so every transform pays +3.

Friends 25 balls
Animals that spawn more animals. The widest boards in the game.
How it wants to be played: Flood the table with small bodies, then add anything that triggers on pocketing.

The Steam launch post advertises 150+ balls across 8 thematic sets, and player reviews of the 1.0 build describe 8 starting sets with 5 difficulties each. Five of those sets are catalogued here ball by ball; the other three are in the game but not yet documented in the community wiki this site cross-checks against, so their ball lists are marked pending rather than guessed.
